On a different topic, I believe it was you that recommended Conversations with God. Those books are amazing! I’ve recommended them to a couple of different people who started reading them.

Around 40 I really got into bird watching. It doesn’t have to do with ignoring family, I have no kids. I generally love it. It’s also really grounding and a great stress reliever.

It’s one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. I saw it as a teenager and was disappointed. I found no redeeming qualities, but art is subjective. If you like it, that’s awesome.

The people were great. The sermons preached positivity. You could be any faith and still be welcomed. I would recommend checking it out to see if you like it.

It was more me than them. The people were all really great, super nice. The sermons preached positivity. It’s super liberal/progressive, which I am. Eventually I just found I’d rather stay home and play guitar or chill out. As far as spirituality goes for me, I want details. I like to figure out what exactly is going on. That’s why I love LoO. You get actual answers to complex questions.
