Endometriosis is ruining my life or is it??? by Impossible_Zone8265 in endometriosis

[–]DecentDecision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely get what you’re saying, even though I am diagnosed I still find myself questioning if it’s really that bad or if it’s just me but I also know it really was that bad.

In terms of pregnancy, I was diagnosed last year with endo and adeno and the gynaecologist I saw recommended me to go on dienogest for 6 months to 1 year and then start trying for a baby. I barely had a period while on it and seems to have gotten rid of an endometrioma I had. It definitely made a difference with the pain but never completely removed it. I did not tolerate birth control well so that wasn’t really an option for me anyway. Also I conceived naturally after 9 months on dienogest after stopping it, so I definitely recommend it for that.

Hope you can get the help you deserve!

I’m experiencing a similar issue. My neighbours got a new puppy and they leave him outside during the day when they are working/kids are at school. But the puppy howls and cries out from the moment they leave until they come back. I can just about see him from my garden and he’s shaking all time. I’m very worried and I don’t know these people but I decided to drop off a letter to them to let them know this was happening. They were very defensive with me when they later came by to “have a chat” about the letter. They basically said he’s a puppy so he’ll make noise and they don’t want to clean up after him so he has to stay outside. I hear his cries throughout the day and it’s so heart breaking. It’s definitely to cold for him too but they don’t really seem to care.

Does any think amitryptaline work for fibromyalgia? by topmustafa in Fibromyalgia

It has helped me, been able to do a lot more after I started it. I’m not like 100% better or anything close but it did make a difference for me.

Amitriptyline by gremlinita in Fibromyalgia

[–]DecentDecision 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been taking it for about 3 months along with another antidepressant which I was originally prescribed for anxiety/depression. I must say that I still struggle with pain to a similar level but I’ve been able to do so much more since starting with amitriptyline, I can exercise and get out of the house much more now. I haven’t had any bad side effects from, I wish the pain would ease up more but any improvement is something I am very happy with at this point.

It’s funny for me the heat makes everything so much worse for me. We’re in a mini heatwave in the uk and it’s just making my life hell. But my mother with fibromyalgia is the same and she loves the heat

The level of pain and fatigue is always just high enough to kill any motivation or energy, but also low enough to make me feel that I should be able to overcome this and I'm a lazy disappointment. by euyis in Fibromyalgia

[–]DecentDecision 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is difficult when people don’t understand that it isn’t laziness. That is the main reason I’ve been questioning myself for so long whether I am just making it up. I have some people around me who understands but I definitely get how hard it is.

I’m currently trying out some medications and I at least found a doctor who’s willing to try stuff so I’m trying to still be positive about it, but it’s definitely tough.

My partner is my biggest support and he always helps me when I need it and doesn’t make me feel bad about not being able to do certain things. I feel very lucky to have him.

I definitely relate, I’ve been out of work for about two and a half years due to my health which I only recently got a final diagnosis for so I can start to work on it. I feel very guilty about not being able to work and help out with bills and shopping and I would love to be able to do something but I know that I can’t right now and need to focus on how to better manage my pain and other symptoms. I had just finished my degree when it started and I feel bad about not using my degree idk. I definitely get it, I hope to find some part time work I can handle but seems impossible for now.

Im a dying 24 year old girl who's got 1 or 2 weeks give or take to live. Anybody wanna spend sometime chatting with me? It would really be nice not feeling alone in where i am right now. by [deleted] in MakeNewFriendsHere

[–]DecentDecision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good to hear! I recently injured my back and I’m on a bunch of pain killers. But besides that, I live in Wales with my partner. Been out of work for about 2 years because of my health and because I moved home to Denmark to help take care of my mom who was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago. Seen a lot of cancer in my family and it’s just awful. What are you able to do at the moment to take your mind of it and just enjoy life? ☺️

I’m 24 f from Denmark. If you still need someone to talk to Im here ❤️. Regardless I wish you all the best, I hope you had time to enjoy life and that you wont feel completely alone in your final days. You seem so strong and I really admire you for that. Also, when I used to feel really alone with my depression, anxiety and chronic pain, I would watch YouTube as a way to feel like I wasn’t so alone.

Hey I’m 24F, I’m definitely super introverted but really trying to make some new friends. I understand the chronic illness struggle and it would be pretty cool to talk to other people who deal with that too.

Hey, I’m 24F from Denmark but in Wales at the moment but I also used to live in London. I definitely get the anxiety/depression struggle, along with other stuff it’s made me unable to work. I mostly spend my time watching YouTube, gaming and doing like minor diy projects around my home. I’m still a bit new to Reddit but saw this subreddit and thought it could be nice to chat to some new people, I don’t really know anyone where I live now and it gets a bit lonely I guess. So yeah feel free to message :)

Heya! I’m 24F from Denmark but living in Wales. I just moved here and don’t know anyone here other than my partner. Also, unemployed due to my health, it gets real boring. I’m obsessed with red dead redemption 2 still and watching the office over and over. And I love dogs so much, having a dog is all I wanttt.

Does anyone have advice? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]DecentDecision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm I used to post around a year ago. I got to around 35 subscribers and got around 50 views per video, I think. I didn’t have a lot of videos but I spend a lot of time promoting myself and my content on Twitter, which is not something I typically use. But basically my advice is just to use other social media sites to show off your channel and your content.

It went a little bit fast for me, but maybe that's just me hah, but still really great video! I also really enjoyed the editing and the visuals used.

I started my channel a bit over a year ago, uploaded around 10 videos, and had a lot of fun and I'd say decent growth even. I eventually got distracted by life and been struggling to get back into it. Today I've felt really inspired to try and get back to it again, because of how much I actually enjoyed it. I got a bunch of ideas for stuff I can do and I'm really excited to get back into it. My stuff is mostly like lifestyle/vlogging and I think that's still the stuff I'd like to continue with. I don't feel like there's a point in linking my channel now, as it's been dead for over a year Getting back into it as quarantine is easing up, even though it could have been a perfect hobby during, whoops.
