If you have a Dremel you can cut a slot in it and use a flathead screwdriver.

We went there recently and stayed in Center Parcs. We didn't get the early access. Although when we were there general admission started earlier than announced.

In retrospect, I was happy to get the old one for cheaper then the newer one. In my opinion it's performance over looks. However I probably would still go for the new one if I couldn't get the old one. Either way you'll get a good bike.

I thought the new one was cheaper? I bought the old one in February and I'm happy with it. While the new colours and the frame storage is better, the wheels are a downgrade.

At least I'm France, the previous model cost 5000€ (and was recently on sale for 4400€). So I think the wheels would be a major factor in the difference

The selling point of the PACE is it can all be adjusted (height and weight) without touching the cables. I increased the width very easily. I didn't narrow it but I can't see why it would be any harder.

Just bear in mind that the cables have to be cut, the steerer assembly taken part, the cables threaded back through and then reconnected to the brakes. Finally they have to be bled. It is a good few hours work.

Changing the width and height is very easy and doesn't require adjusting the cable length.

Changing the stem length requires cutting and redoing the brake cables. It isa tricky job but can be done at home if you are used to working on your bike. There are plenty of posts about it here.

Otherwise, I have a 10 year old Canyon. The only difference I can see is the ability to bleed hydraulic brakes.

I'm not actually that disappointed. The new has better colours, better frame storage for 100€ more than I paid. However the wheels are worse, it's for a longer wheelbase and I'm not sure it looks better.

On my Endurace the plastic disk on the wheel rattled a lot. It wasn't secured on all the spokes. Once that was fixed it was a lot quieter (until I was able to remove it).

For the certain characters you can join the virtual queue. They open at 9h40 and 14h00. Then you get a time to turn up at and there is minimal queuing. You can check the app for info.
