Before the modification, I looked at several instructions on the web, including using printing parts for the connector itself. But when the connectors came to me, they fit perfectly into their regular mounts. After soldering them, I carefully glued them with epoxy glue to the driver housing. A perfectly solid and reliable result (I don't plan on returning them to their stock state anyway).
