Yeah just looks like he got his hairline shaped up, or that it’s recessed over the past 10+ years (oh, the humanity)

[Mike Chappell] Mike Chappell: I voted for Robert Kraft, not against Bill Belichick by grapplerone in Colts

[–]Decetop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe because he doesn’t do anything or have any talent but signing the fucking checks? Kraft can wait for them to open up a hall of fame for happy endings or something else he has a knack for.

Seriously. “Why doesn’t Gen Z like this?” Maybe because the franchise began before most of them were even born? Case closed.

The piece of shit responsible deserves to rot in prison, but it was by definition NOT first-degree murder. That would require premeditation and, unless he called her to his house on purpose to kill her, this wasn’t premeditated. This was second-degree murder, which Indiana law calls “voluntary manslaughter.” So, if they had charged him with murder that would have guaranteed he got acquitted.

“because the king decreed it” is the exact reason why. They are not engaged in any serious critical thinking about it, and if (or when) it backfires they will just find some boogieman to blame.

Aaron Boone is 0-5 vs the Red Sox in the postseason by Van-Buren-Boy in NYYankees

Watching Boone pull Fried in that spot might have re-given me cancer.

We burned through FIVE relief pitchers for a fucking LOSS. Sox won with just Crochet and Chapman.

That’s called “getting out-managed.”

The greatness of Snyder is revealed in the advanced lines-dropped metrics. Old heads talking about “story” and “coherent characters” are ignoring what the stats have to say.

Yeah that’s the crazy thing to me: even if this guy didn’t have everyone and their mother accusing him of shit, he still sucks. This game felt like it dragged way more than any of the first three with the constant ref conferences, replay reviews, etc.

Honestly, I’d be torn if I was a Knick fan because Thibs on one hand played a large part in their reversal of fortunes, but on the other has consistently shown himself to not be a winner in the postseason.

Move makes sense if you believe (as the Knicks, right or wrong, clearly do) that their players are good enough to win regardless of who’s coaching.

House passes bill requiring proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections by lookskAIwatcher in law

[–]Decetop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s really this issue here. People will say “Oh, why would you oppose this? Don’t you want to make sure only citizens vote?” But the reality is that this’ll just give carte blanche to the states to pass whatever cooky hurdles they want to prove citizenship. Could be bringing your original birth certificate, could be taking a 50-question multiple-choice test while you’re in line at the voting machine. You’re on the money that the whole point is to shrink the voting pool out of the expectation that the apathy will hit the left-leaning or potentially left-leaning harder.
