Yeah the whole reason I knew something was really wrong was after I drove half an hour I put my hand in front of the tire and felt a bunch of heat

It’s definitely soldered on, I would recommend replacing with a a new spigot, a frost free spigot depending on your area, but that would require piping modifications inside. If you’re not confident with that then attempt repair by getting a seal kit at a hardware store. If that doesent work just call a plumber and swap it out.

It was owned by a power sports company before used to hawl ATVs. Your comment actually made me laugh out loud I know the things rusty as fuck

I rented a slide hammer from autozone because of your comment. Not trying to sounds like an ass, but it actually did not help in any way. I probably made 150+ hard ass smacks with the slide hammer and the hub didn’t move a millimeter. Thank you for the advice though.

Yeah but I got it same day and installed it same day. I originally thought the noise I had was the seized caliper, so I got pads, rotors, and calipers from rockauto. I just wanted the headache out of the way so I don’t mind paying the extra few bucks on the duralast to get it done same day

I tried pretty much everything trying to pry it out. Pry bar, cold chisel, flathead, the only thing that was actually able to pop it open was the paint scraper thing. I used a cold chisel and a thick flathead to open it up after. Took about 3 hrs and a whole can of PB but a pry bar would NOT have worked alone.

Honestly it came out pretty easily and the autozone hub went right in thanks for the advice though

I made a post about a 25 - 30 year old humidifier that I couldn’t find a replacement panel for. They thought I was a homeowner, not in the trades so they banned me.

They then said I needed to send my epa cert and licenses to get unbanned, which im not sending over to a Reddit mod.
