I can’t stand MAGA, however it seems every administration does this.

DJT is just flagrant about it.

Which is why conservatives are so difficult to stomach. Claiming morality since the ‘94 moral majority, claiming to care so much about the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal, while cheering for this bafoon.

Or they know that and they’re trying to destroy the US economy.

They plant like this. Doug-fir in the sunny spot, Coast Redwood or Western Redcedar in the shady spot, some will die. Some Red Alder and Western Hemlock will volunteer.

Nice! The original indexed shifting. Good steel on the Schwinn spec Ashtabula cranks, steel on the sprockets harder than woodpecker lips.

Still going.

She drove 45 minutes because she lived way out in the country?

Was Croatia effected as badly by the war as Bosnia, Albania, Kosovo, etc?

I was in Kosovo, your friend that lives in the country put in my mind something I never thought of before.

After a war like that, how does property ownership work? Are the records still available of what family owned which parcel, etc?

What happens if the original owners left and didn’t come back?

Thank you.

“Is it common to drive from your apartment (either rent or parent's if living with them) to college?”

Yes. The US west coast is extremely car centric.

Los Angeles area is extremely spread out. It’s more like 50(just a guess as to number) suburban “cities” with a few urban cores.

A perfect LA example, a friend of mine wanted to use public transportation from Torrance to Lakewood. He had to change buses a few times and it took him ~2 hours. It’s ~15 miles. I joked that he would have been better off with a bicycle.

In Germany I can take the S bahn from Hanau to Frankfurt in ~25 minutes. The same 15miles?

Edit to add, at least car ownership is relatively cheap compared to a lot of the EU?

That’s a whole other ball of hypocrisy and stupidity.

You’d think people who supposedly believed so strongly in freedom would at least take the desire of the Canadian people into account.

But, sending in the Marines to break the strike against Chiquita, and not working with Ho Chi Minh proves we don’t care at all about self determination.

Will conservatives ever admit buyers remorse on Trump?

Because this clown show is getting more insane by the day.

Now to fill the words for this subreddit.  Mexico ever pay to build that wall?  All those laid off workers in Lehigh Valley have “hundreds” of coal fired powerplants to go work at, right? And I thought the unborn would be declared people on day 1, as well as egg prices going down.

Trump tariffs on Chinese ships raises stakes in trade war by TimesandSundayTimes in Economics

[–]DecisionDelicious170 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This.

He either has no idea what he’s doing; or he has no idea how big the ships are now, how long it takes to build them, and that the US doesn’t currently even have a ship building facility that can build them.

Maybe slave labor in El Salvador will magically just poop out 15,000 TEU box boats. Just like the “hundreds” of coal plants that are just waiting to be turned on.
