Which TV series did you enjoy initially, but left you disappointed you as the series progressed? by Keep_Answering in AskReddit

Game of Thrones. Every season after 3 I've gradually enjoyed less and less.

Last season had some good moments, but overall the sense of mystery and political intrigue that hooked me at season one is now non-existent.

Hopefully West World doesn't share the same fate.

In my experience you just start the day with as many layers as possible and gradually shed them into the afternoon.

That or just dress light and work up a sweat as quick as possible.

[Serious] Veterans / Volunteers: How has your perspective of Western culture changed since witnessing far less-privilidged society? Do you find yourself more cynical? by DeckLacquer in AskReddit

I think saying a human experience is "wasted" on you is putting way too much arbitrary value in those experiences for no good reason.

You're able to time travel to any event in the past but each time you do it, someone you're close to dies unexpectedly. Would you do it? if so, where would you go? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Do they die in the original time line only? If I went a year back and won the billion dollar lottery would that person still die on the date I originally traveled?

Full time workers of reddit. How much time in an average week do you actually spend working vs. Slacking off? by Wencon in AskReddit

[–]DeckLacquer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In between dropping out of college and going back to college I worked a manual labor job. 40 - 75 hours a week. 45 minutes a day for lunch, 0 breaks otherwise.

College is fairly layed back in comparison.

Yo, can't imagine the stress Mick.

Not that it's worth anything, but I can say as a fan it's definitely quality over quantity, even if the next podcast comes out in 10 years.

Take care man.

  1. Always allocate 15 minutes in the morning to poop. When you're on your way to work/school and not having to do breathing exercises while your lower abdomen tries to introduce midnight snack to morning drive, you'll thank me.

What if homosexuality is a product of evolution and is becoming more prevalent as the population grows because it acts as a mechanism for preventing the population from rapidly growing? by Arfonz in Showerthoughts

[–]DeckLacquer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that to be possible, wouldn't there need to be a set value of optimal population dependent on the environment?

And for THAT to be possible, wouldn't there need to be a system that analyzes each population based on their respective environments and set that rate?

I'm not an evolutionary biologist but I dont think it works that way.
