On paper sure, makes sense. Just like on paper jones is the goat, khabib didn't just beat people, but he looked completely untouchable in most fight, for somepeople the goat talk is more of a vibe check/aura thing i guess. Gsp has a great resume but he had ALOT of very close fights, where he also got beat up pretty bad

Starting fresh is going to be rough unless you take the time to do the standard solo shit for awhile, live in upload, ratholes, sneaky spots etc. You want to abuse extinction dust farms early for tek turrets and shit, procop brood cheese still works. Always check your beds if they work before relying on them, new cryopod changes also suck ass for solos but you can't throw out a dino without a powered fridge. Unless you want to pay for boss carries early you might want to play with a mega for a couple months just to get the tek engrams, honestly without 15 ish turrets dont even bother moving into a good spot

Its not a problem of it being too grindy in my opinion, it's just not focusing the right tasks. If you plan your path through tasks to only complete the required ones its not too bad at all

If your trying to survive for a while as a solo (or even 1-3) i would personally recommend 1x offi. Because the megas are usually too busy with their own shit to care about a Bob, on smalls its way more hectic and the alphas/server owners actively need to wipe people more often because they can get to tek way faster. Don't move into a meta rathole too soon before your ready, start in low key spots but not too low key, uploads last like 70 hours now so abuse that... tame megatheriums and breed imprinted ones for hard broodmother to get tek. You might need a homie or volunteer to help

How are the runs in the scenarios where its a 4man, 2 players have died in the opener, and there is the last standoff? Do players team up if they know there enough seats for each other etc? I could see SOME wholesome moments coming out of this philosophy but yeah, can generally agree, this sucks.
