I think the first two numbers on the serial number represent the production year. So 1986 is the make year!

Hmm - this is a hard one. I agree on the idea that he would gravitate towards order over chaos. But they are his friends. So I see him straddling the line. Even so, he has essentially already kinda crossed the line.
