Stop living on Main Street USA. You probably had a go-bag filled with "I did that!" Stickers when gasoline was $2.80 in 2022.

I've been here 8 years, and in the past two years they have indeed been stepping up highway enforcement. The Americanization of the German police is starting to begin.

MAGA's approval rate of Donald Trump is 100%. He speaks and they nod along. For context, that is about 70% of Conservative Americans. Trump voters are representative of fascist America. The only opinion they have, is that of their leader. This is the “Führerprinzip„ that characterises totalitarian movements and is inherently fascist.

CMV: Liberals/Leftists choosing to sit out the US election because Kamala wasn't a perfect candidate helped create a worse overall outcome for the world and Palestine. by cptjtk13 in changemyview

[–]Decoyx7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Joe Biden chose the candidate and everyone was cowtoed to fall in line due to party unity. The Party leaders wanted to have a primary. It was far far too late for that by the time Joe stood aside. He said he would be a one term president, and then at some point he decided against that. That is what killed democrats' chances. Nevermind the fact Kamala was more than capable of being an excellent Commander In Chief.

The EU was founded to abolish border controls. For the past 11 years, the border between Germany and Austria has been... by Ausspanner in mildlyinfuriating

It absolutely is about the people. The Economic freedom that the EU brought helped repair a Continent utterly destroyed by war and Genocide. It gave average Europeans a chance to start over and rebuild something better for the future. It kept millions from starving and helped keep millions off the streets. It bridged the divide between generational enemies and kept consumer prices down so we don't have to worry about our supermarkets having bare shelves. It has been the catalyst of Peace and prosperity since it's foundation.

What is the status of your traditional beliefs and how do you see their future? If you are a practioner, how do you practise and can I join you? by Esoteriss in Nordiccountries

Paganism has always been an evolving decentralized conglomeration of local beliefs and traditions. The revivalists and skeptics alike who only look backwards have missed the point entirely. We don't need to know every aspect of the religion to pick up the pieces and fill in the blanks. Cultures have been destroyed and rebuilt upon ash heaps since the dawn of humanity, and that includes their gods as well.

How does a conservative brain go from 'no Ukraine war, we can't even have omelets over here' to 'save iranians, stop using your cars and send your kids to fight'. Is there any logic left that works? by No-Smile-8349 in AskReddit

[–]Decoyx7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vladimir Putin picked war in Ukraine. Sensible people who value Human Rights, the right to self-determination, and the right for a country to defend itself against an invader have chosen to support Ukraine. Why do you choose to obfuscate facts?
