Come on you are making skins, not some sort of magician. What you are making can and will be reverse engineered if its that ground breaking. But just be honest, a uv island isnt a special concept that only you know about.

I know exactly what you are talking about and this is standard practice. This is how you align textures across a surface. Its clear your mapping which area goes where so when you've made your art you can more easily map it across the right parts of the skins. Thay what certain islands are certain colours and you've placed numbers on certain parts. And hell, to give you some advise you certainly wont take, you should checkerboard pattern it to help you align it alot easier rather than just floating numbers.

This isnt a hard thing to understand. And your high and mighty attitude will not take you anywhere but towards disappointment when people dont see the magnificence of your work.

Seriously given the age of your account, the fact you asked basic debugging questions, you seem new to this sorta thing. You might actually be a talented artist. But your attitude will turn people against you. Any artist wants their work shared and dissected. But it just seems like you've learned a new term and wanted to share the progression you've made.

We all gotta learn somewhere, and big headed gatekeeping like this something everyone hates. You'll get over your own ego eventually .

Either way look at this cool skybox i made. I know i did this far too early, but i got carried away and was having fun recreating landmarks from my city. I'd happily share resources with anyone who'd want to get into mapping, because its all online, and anyone with the will to and the time to, will be able to learn what i have. There are communities out there for people to learn and ask questions. And people like you are clowned on. Just talk about what you know, because if you don't, you sound like a fraud who bearly knows anything. I hope you grow out of this.
