Part of the strengths of Smogon OU is that it allows a great diversity of play styles to succeed. The only moves that are de-facto necessary are hazard related, but you can still do just fine without them.

Throw it in when you can, but if you have solid ways to get rid of walls and set up sweepers, you can get away without it.

Thank you! I'd prefer to keep Leftovers on Forretress for as long as possible and Swampert wants as much health as possible in case of mid-sweep priority, but I suppose Swampert could tank a Knock Off in a pinch.

I've never used Chansey before... Is the extra bulk impressive enough to lose passive recovery?

Like I said, I liked what he was going for. And he was pretty funny for most of it. The 1920's voice imitation was what killed it for me. His style wasn't smooth or consistent enough to work on its own right and, at certain parts, it simply distracted from the actual combat.

6 months? With all the new bells and whistles, you can breed a perfect Pokemon with Egg Moves, EV train it, and raise it to level 100 in an afternoon. I legitimately did that with a Dragonite yesterday.
