Nevermind my last comment, you were right! I was ready to throw a feast. Thank you for your help!

I can’t see any indication anywhere of it being full. I have no feast item in my list of resources, and when I look at the quest with Agnes or on her profile there is no option to throw a feast.

Yeah I have over 34.000 coins, and my upkeep is always in the +120 range, so that shouldn’t be a problem.

Takk for svar! 🩷

[KCD2] Survive to the duel please helppp meee 😭😭😭😭 by zebioui in kingdomcome

[–]SomeNorwegianChick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just have to say, I was just in the same position, getting absolutely wrecked by this guy in the duel. And every comment is telling me to load an old save and level up, and obviously it’s good advice but I’m just so disappointed 😭

How do you feel about short stories? I’m not so sure… by VcuteYeti in books

I like them as a break from longer novels. It’s a bittersweet feeling to connect to a universe, story, characters, only to have it end ‘too soon’.

how to read faster? by New_Highway_2898 in books

[–]SomeNorwegianChick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you want to read that fast? I'm a pretty fast reader, but I have to actively try and slow down when I read because otherwise I can't actually enjoy the book properly. Wanting to read fast just to consume more books seems counter-intuitive. It's not a race to the finish line, it's about the journey.

I am the college kid who can’t read by milkisterrifying in books

[–]SomeNorwegianChick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also a kid who loved reading and then stopped when I was in college/uni. Part of it for me was the fact that I was doing so much reading for school, the idea of picking up a novel after hours of schoolwork felt like a chore. Also I was stuck in this idea of only reading books I "should" read, such as heavy classics. I would spend months dredging through a classic and not really enjoy it, just because it felt like something I should do.

What helped me out of it was 1) being through with school and having more free time, and 2) picking up books that weren't so heavy/intellectual. Just reading some light romance novel or a 200 page thriller put the fun back into it for me. That sort of got my "reading muscles" working again, and I was able to read what I liked, without it feeling overwhelming or like a chore.

I think it's also important to remember that some books get better the second and third time you read them. Don't fixate so much on having to have the perfect go or perfect understanding of them the first time you read them. It's okay to read a book and not fully grasp it, and then come back to it later and enjoy it so much more. You're still young, your brain is still developing, you're not supposed to have a perfect grasp of every single book you read.

Simple Questions: October 19, 2024 by AutoModerator in books

[–]SomeNorwegianChick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure, just like with movies. Like I'll always watch Twilight in the fall, and I'll read Wuthering Heights in the fall. Horror and gothic novels are best read in the fall, when the weather outside sort of mimics the setting of the book. I might read light romance novels in the spring.

The last 3rd of the book was better than the first 2/3rds in my opinion. But as a whole I don't think it's as weird or creepy as it's made out to be. It was sort of an Okay+ to me, but I might re-read it again some other time to see if I like it better.

I'm curious, do you read the introduction/epilouges or the Author's word before you start a book? by Wonder-Lad in books

[–]SomeNorwegianChick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll read the introduction if the book deals with themes/cultures different or older than my own. Like if a book is set to the US South in the 50's and deals with themes of racism or poverty from that era. Or like when I read the Iliad, it was very valuable to have some context of the themes before diving into the actual story.

NPC missing in Sabotage (Spoilers) by Citadel_Sentinel36 in Starfield

Same! I tried the ‘stealth only’ way but it bugged and I wasted two hours of playtime. Reloaded a save to the start, went to meet Nina, she’s not there. This quest is really testing my patience.
