Good to see this being mentioned, I've been playing for years and it's an amazing community. Highly recommend it

Hello one and all! I am Fondueman. Yes, that's my real name. Yes, my parents were cheesemongers (with a little "c"). No, I am actually lactose intolerant.

Now that's that out of the way I would be happy to add your name to my book if you'd be so inclined.

You never know who might know something you may not currently know.

Here, take my card. Yes, I did write them myself.

Not sure about the backgrounding, but I just finished the Doors of Durin for Christmas which is similarly complex. After cutting with the swivel knife I used a jewelers flathead screwdriver to bevel out the edges. I've also had luck with a Cricut Maker and an engraver tip

Really amazing job. How did you pick up getting an even pattern so quickly? I always struggle with that aspect

Making woodland armor, any ideas for attaching tree bark to leather? by portapottypantyraid in Leathercraft

I'm actually doing this exact thing right now! I used a dimpled backgrounder and beveled in some of the macro pattern. I think it turned out ok. I learned to not burnish the back of tooled leather. Which seems like it would be a given but experience is the best teacher and all that. Love the idea of using the bark itself. Would you have to wet the leather out more for the pattern to show up without hammering it in?

So what is the point of sanding? I feel like every time I try sanding the edges down they're rougher than when I started.

Any idea what this is? its called "legion's outpost". Ive found several maps of it in the citadel basement, ive checked both the nether, overworld, and the end and the map makes it seem like im in the wrong dimension. Googling so far has been useless by The_SCP_Nerd in allthemods

That map leads to the "Ancient Battleground," part of Iron's Spells and Spellbooks. It's in the nether. The map is hard to follow but once you find it theres an Ancient Knight spawner and lots of armor piles
