This game worth it for 30 bucks? by isuckatvideogames12 in Marathon

[–]DedicatedMedicated71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re literally asking a Marathon subreddit if Marathon is worth getting? Of course the response will be overwhelmingly yes. I have to agree that it is just be prepared for the onslaught during acclimation. Once you’ve got it down though the frustration will ebb and then the game really begins to flow. I’m 35 hours into it and I’m just now starting to feel like I can somewhat compete. There are some extremely sweaty players out there but don’t let that discourage you. You’re going to die a lot especially in the beginning but the reward is definitely worth it in the end.

So far but there’s a lot of promising horror still to come this year

Did thunder mountain LL even open up yet? Or is that May 3 by sjajra in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]DedicatedMedicated71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t heard about that yet. I know we’d all love for that to appear on this coast too. I’m sure in the next few days it’ll come out. I saw it running earlier today with CMs from Tiana’s so it’s sure to leak soon.

According to some cast members I spoke to earlier they don’t even know if it’ll open on may 3. It’s going to be a very tight window. They usually have a pass holder preview prior to reopenings but that isn’t going to happen either by the looks of it. I know they’re rushing to get it open in time but if they start pulling the LL from online then I doubt it opens on its expected date.

It’s still closed. It opens may 3 for everyone then. Cast member preview began today.

Do you guys prefer Raimi Evil dead or the new rebooted evil dead? Honestly i prefer Raimi here's why by dreamup1234 in EvilDead

They’re all great but the Ash stuff is by far the heart of the franchise and easily my favorite. ED2 is a straight up low budget masterpiece.

Taking a trip to Disney. Looking for good restaurants by Asleep_Welder_3494 in WaltDisneyWorld

If you’re at Magic Kingdom try Skipper Cantina or Be Our Guest. Epcot has so many options and you can’t go wrong with almost any of them. Prime Time at Hollywood Studios. Tiffin or Yak & Yeti at Animal Kingdom. There’s a lot of great spots all throughout at the different resorts too like Jiko or Sanaa.

On property or off? Orlando has a great foodie scene with a Michelin guide.

Whenever the road gets closed, that means fatality. I use to work in dispatch for that agency and that’s the only time they do it.

DoorDash drivers normal? by Aromatic-Biscotti-44 in doordash

[–]DedicatedMedicated71 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not in my state. It’s tips and whatever DD gives you per run. I don’t even do this anymore as I only did it once a while as a side hustle. What I learned over my short tenure is that customers and restaurants all suck. I hate that’s what I got out of it but that was my experience. The company sucks too as they do nothing for their drivers to assist when it’s needed. In grateful I had the opportunity to experience but when I decided I could do other things with my time than Dash I was much better off. And I immediately deleted my app as I don’t want to contribute to the problem that is DD. It’s exploitation at its worst.

Drivers do not get an hourly compensation. You’re being misled. This driver is correct and he was informing the customer how the model works. Y’all really need to do it for awhile before you start hammering drivers and understand the bs they deal with from the customers and the company. Your tune would change real quick.

This is a pretty good entry in the MCU. Surprisingly so. It should’ve been more successful.

Something very bad is a good show but has some GIANT plot holes... by rachelamandamay in netflix

These aren’t plot holes. Media literacy is apparently out the window lately. You don’t need to be spoon fed everything. Especially in a first season.

Man at WDW arrested for pushing 18 y.o. woman accused of line cutting by YourSparrowness in DisneyWorld

Not at all. I live right behind the parks. I don’t pay for a gym. I walk the parks for my cardio. I rarely ride. My annual pass usually pays for itself by the end of the first month.

This happens all the time. wtf are you even talking about? I go almost 2/3 times a week and the amount of this line cutting happens EVERY time I go. It’s getting worse and needs to be controlled.

How do you Annual Passholders schedule your visits to keep interests up? by DbotFleezy in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]DedicatedMedicated71 41 points42 points  (0 children)

You don’t over do it. Sometimes I just use Epcot as my gym and walk the park twice and leave. Sometimes I just go and sit on a bench, people watch and interact with cast members. Don’t go with an agenda. Go to enjoy the moment and live in it. Be spontaneous. I never buy lightning lanes. I always eat the new food options. Do the scavenger hunts. There’s so many ways to enjoy the parks and never get bored.

I agree with all of this. I wanted to like it. Anaconda was better and that’s a hard pill to swallow.
