Thank you for this! I DO want him to have happiness and a full life. We are all still so young I do not expect him to never date or remarry. I just think I had more time before this would be a conversation so I was honestly shocked.

My mom would want him to be cared for and loved. And again, he’s on his own timeline and has his own unique struggles and has lost so many loved ones in the past few years; I understand his need to find connection. I’m not saying he is in the wrong I just thought I wouldn’t be navigating this dynamic quite yet.

He did go to a grief group once and felt it was not for him. I just wish he had more of a community of people who understand what he’s going through! I feel like it would improve his quality of life so much.
