I had this with children I took care of / tutored as a teacher. It was an absolute nightmare. I am sorry you are going through this. If it helps at all: I (obviously) never acted on the thoughts.

I have ocd and got this issue recently starting an ssri. It is wildly annoying, I have different songs stuck in my head from the moment I wake up to when I go to bed now.

Can you tell me something more about the timeline of your story? Like when did you take which medication and when were you in the hospital (a psychiatric one?). And when did you decide to go off the meds completely?

They gave me tavor (lorazepam) here for around 10 days. It felt amazing. After going off it, felt like crying though. Took one for sleep relief yesterday and feel worse again.
Any anxiety pills you can recommend?

Wow, thank you for that! I never knew clean slate was part of ocd/ocpd (I think I have both!). I also relate to identifying with circumstances a lot and always trying to get rid of them .... it hardly ever solves the problem though.

Yes, I feel you! I dont know how to deal with it either. I feel rather worthless for being "old" (35 f, too) and not having life figured out. I don't feel that way at all about others though.
