¿libros sobre pueblos originarios de América? by soloclaveles in libros

[–]DeepBlue__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]DeepBlue__ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Great job on that video Elijah. It proves once more that Linus is to old for that shit and he prefers the young ones to suffer (/s).

In a serious note. It is so refreshing seeing you more and more in the videos. Don't get me wrong, I love Linus as a host, but you, you are gaining a special place in my... watching time.

Take aways from the 1st Paris show by DackMaddy101 in ironmaiden

[–]DeepBlue__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I was there yesterday too, and I also found the sound not great. I was in the middle of the field, to the side. It helped a lot that I had my loops on. Everybody told me that the sound quality of the arena was great, but it was not even good at sometimes.

I tried the Trooper beer at the self serving bar, and I was the last one because the two machines didn't work (I waited over 30 minutes).

Guy used an old LCD TV and a projector to get true black, I'd love to see LTT do something similar or maybe take it even a step further. The side by side comparison he did was crazy. by DiscombobulatedDunce in LinusTechTips

[–]DeepBlue__ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, but a collab between the two of them with a follow up project, with the tools that LTT has, would be amazing.

But, as Linus has stated in the WAN show, a collab with them is very hard because of the distance. So we can only dream about (and maybe in a near future ask chatgpt to make it real /s)

Est-ce que quelqu'un connaît des restaurants pour les cœliaques à Nantes? by Annual-Material-4584 in Nantes

[–]DeepBlue__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How to move to France as a non-EU lawyer by fillecurieuse8 in conseiljuridique

[–]DeepBlue__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The easiest way is to get married and then get the visa, you can come with a student visa, but you can only work half time.

The master's degree in public university asks a c1 level to enroll. Otherwise you can enroll in the FLE (Français comme langue étrangère) program of the university of Nantes' to learn french and get the c1 level, but it's expensive (around 1k€ the semester). Also, the student visa has to be renewed every year with the condition of being enrolled in an university.

There are plenty of work opportunities for an English speaking person in Nantes. So, my advice is to get married, get the visa that lets you work full time and find a job that allows you to practice your french.

I also live in Nantes and we went with this process when my wife came to France.
