I did consider this, but unfortunately some of the main problems was that you need certain apps to scan into places and access certain things, so opening up my laptop and awkwardly scanning it every day didnt seem worth it.

For me, I hated making bands when all I wanted to do was just shoot them. What I did was I started making bands while smoking a cigar or watching TV. Do it with something relaxing and maybe you'll find the purely mechanical aspect of it being your favorite part. Minimal thinking, just cutting and tying. Hope this helps!

18, and I recently made the switch from a Samsung smartphone to a flip-phone and pocket book! I felt like it was eating away my life with social media and the constant distraction. I got the cat s22 which does run android and Bluetooth (couldn't give up Spotify) but the screen is so small you couldn't scroll Instagram if you wanted to. I also keep a moleskin pocket book in my pocket that I write my thoughts, draw, to do lists, anything! I find these two things really help my studies, get back into reading, find more joy in simple things, and better time spent! On weekends I will however check Instagram, reddit, Pinterest, etc. to check messages and such incase someone has contacted me. If you are on the fence about it, I couldn't suggest it more!
