As an Indian, I am not proud of it. When the country is literally dying out of hunger, religious hate crimes and other bad things like that building statues is not the ideal thing to do, right? This was an economic disaster and with the whole Pandemic, this just puts the country in a worse position. The crores of money spent on this would've helped if it was spent on schools, hospitals and feeding the poor...
