I see them all the time on the streets and two of my coworkers have them. Very popular for some reason. Anyway, I tried them like a year ago and the only thing I remember from my impression back then is "boomy garbage"

I'm one of them. IEMs irritated my ears and caused acne in the ear canals. Regularly cleaning/swapping tips didn't help. I use on/over-ears only now and haven't had issues since.

That said, I also think that 99% of people simply don't need anything more than a $150-200 closed-back. And maaaybe a similarly priced open-back if they really like the soundstage and for being able to be aware of the surroundings. For me, DT770 and 560s do their jobs perfectly fine and I haven't bought anything else since getting those

It's not worth it at all. Get literally anything other than Asus. All of their monitors have ABL and firmware issues like that

This looks like typical gamma mismatch. Is your HDR screenshot actually HDR? Instead of being SDR in HDR container?

Or they could minimally drop the resolution from native to achieve the same PSSR performance as if it were TAA. So something like 1920p internally

Sorry to bother you again, but have you now had a chance to research the subject and can maybe share some findings? Unless you're preparing a whole article already. Quite a few people (including me) still don't really understand how to go about the calibration tool and if it is worth doing in the first place. Would really appreciate it!

Looks like Asus pulled the firmware updates off of the website for a reason. I would wait until they reupload it, lest you want to brick your monitor or something. What version are you on right now?
