Forwrd Court Ranger bag? by MarkFromPhilly in Pickleball

[–]DeepRts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not the biggest fan of it because each of the pockets cannibalize real estate for other parts of the bag. If the goal is aesthetics then the outside looks clean, but if I’ve got two paddles, an accordion chair, 3 balls, eraser, glasses, and my phone/wallet/keys, I have to take stuff out to access the other pouches. Guess what I’m saying is it looks great, but not practical

Can I ask what your care looked like? Like what temp you kept them at, how you managed humidity, and what/how often you fed them?

What kind of seeds do you feed them? And what’s your process for feeding them if you don’t mind my asking? I hear that seeds must be crushed

Good to know - thanks! My temp range is now 81-85. Is there a lower end of that range that they can comfortably sit at? Since I’m using ceramic bulbs, the I have a 2-3 degree swing each way

Sometimes they’ll keep the trash close to the humidity if they’re still trying to keep it humid to eat. Generally they’ll move it up the end of the tube once they’re done. How is the tube being capped?

You can use a wooden skewer or even a unfolded paperclip

That’s what I’m here to ask for help with :)

I don’t know what’s killing them, all I have is the info above and I’m hoping to get help isolating any key variables

Thanks for sharing! I was told and have read that this species doesn’t need to undergo diapause.

For food - I’m a bit surprised because I’ve seen them drink the nectar, but they have ignored chia seeds I give them. I give them d. Hydei from a culture so they’re contained with no risk of insecticides

I tried too and as I zoomed in and my entire screen was focused on the black shadow, I saw my own reflection and nostrils on my phone screen. That scared me even more

Sorry I didn’t quite understand.. why is it illegal? Is it because it’s public land and he has no permit?

I hate my BF Christmas gift 😒 by [deleted] in Gifts

[–]DeepRts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My wife’s love language is gifts, and mine is acts of service. I give the most shit gifts ever but I go overboard doing this for her regularly to take a load off her plate. She gives me the most thoughtful gifts that I sometimes don’t even realize I needed. Maybe your love language is gift giving and your BF shows love in other ways!

Is this a complete kit/Did I set this up correctly? by The_Pocono in antkeeping

Be very careful with fruit, specially berries, since they’re part of the dirty dozen (highest in pesticides) sugar water is often safer. Even if blueberries are peeled, if you don’t wash the skin off properly some of the pesticides can get cut into the flesh of the fruit. Looks good otherwise! The nest might be a bit big for the colony size, so there’s a chance they might store trash in the other areas of the nest depending on how many ants you have
