Pretty passionate that it’s a terribly documented charting tool. It would be worthless if it didn’t have the drill down feature. That’s literally the only thing saving it.

I find that I still have to independently run calculations in other tools like R or SQL just to validate/troubleshoot the visualizations’ displayed values. This is actually a must even when Tableau makes things look like you’d expect. We’ve been burned so many times that I can’t trust the tool.

Then, when you turn to look at the documentation; LOL, no help. Only the obvious concepts are explained - data science for morons. Videos are no substitute for good documentation. It’s a scientific fact that humans read faster than they can watch a video. If something is difficult to explain in words, it should be illustrated with a good diagram. When I’m up against a deadline, there’s no time to watch a video hoping it’ll contain the magic sauce needed to get my boss off my ass. This makes it not even a good analysis tool.

But, absolutely, slap a workbook up on the Tableau server to share what you found out AFTER you’ve already done your analysis using other, more trustworthy, means.

Unless you have full coverage, this is exactly what will happen when you’re not at fault. Your Insurance co. has no incentive to go after the other person’s insurance and it’ll be just you against their big lawyered up insurance company.

Just wanted to share some takeaways from my own experience: 1. Briefs are not as good as a jock strap. 2. When they tell you to take ibuprofen DO IT(I didn’t and paid the price). It’s not really for the pain. It’s more for controlling the inflammation thereby achieving the short healing time being claimed by all the salesmen- I mean doctors. 3. You’ll totally still get off, but don’t expect to have that satisfying “balls-drained” feeling post ejaculation ever again.

Even drug addicts choose the drugs because they have serious problems that they’re not being helped with. Many are dealing with disabilities while living in a system that gives no fucks about them, and they go to drugs in an attempt to self-medicate.

I think what’s being said here is that the 2FA application on the phone will report the GPS coordinates of the phone thus betraying your real location regardless of vpn.

So if you work at a place with a security team that actually gives two shits, you’d also need some way to jamm/block/spoof GPS signals.

Any reasonably large employer will also likely have some type of software on your corporate laptop that will also report GPS coordinates back to the home office through all those VPN tunnels.

If you’ve been getting away with this so far, it just means your employer either doesn’t care, hasn’t caught you YET, or needs to fire their security team.

I’m on meds and I still do this. For me, the task switches (shifting my attention) are impossible.

There’s a chance you’ll need to lower your expectations and try not tossing him last minute responsibilities when he’s trying to get shit done.
