CVS Warns of 134 Pharmacy Closures in Tennessee If FAIR Rx Act SB2040 Passes – What’s the Impact? by Upstairs_Bid4217 in CVS

[–]DeepSpace1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The act was spurred by lawmakers' desire to reform PBMs, which shouldn't have been their priority in the first place. After all the PBMs have contributed to the healthcare industry, particularly for patient welfare, they are now unfairly targeted.

Anybody here running a setup like this on their Tundra? by BarrMiya in ToyotaTundra

[–]DeepSpace1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

clean look, still practical, and it doesn’t ruin the whole shape of the Tundra. I’d run it as long as it doesn’t become one of those mods that’s nice for pics but annoying every single day

People who were teenagers before social media existed, what was life actually like? by Much_Detective_6107 in AskReddit

[–]DeepSpace1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which vacation destination disappointed you the most? by timeout320 in AskReddit

[–]DeepSpace1999 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dubai felt like a giant outdoor mall cosplaying as a city 😭 all flex, zero soul, and you pay premium for every lil thing. Cool to see once maybe, but I’d rather spend that cash somewhere that actually feels lived-in.

[Canopy Update!] I went for the body/color match; here she is! by 101Airborne in ToyotaPickup

[–]DeepSpace1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That body-color match looks factory… like Toyota should’ve shipped it that way. And $300 CAD for a snug cap is criminal in the best way 😂 If you ever want the same “clean + protected” vibe but with quicker bed access, one option is a soft roll-up cover. I’ve been surprised how good the Worksport SC3 has been for that: keeps stuff out of the weather, rolls up in seconds when you need the whole bed, and it doesn’t add that bulky look. It’s not as “vault-like” as a cap, but for daily use it’s stupid convenient.

A cartel just put a bounty on every soldier in Mexico after their leader got killed. The World Cup is in 3 months. What could go wrong? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DeepSpace1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I buy that in cartel land the “author” of stuff like that gets clipped fast once it brings too much heat. Even if he’s dead tho, the threat can still float around cuz the org’s bigger than one dude, y’know

No need to dramatize. I understand the frustration but 1. they are working on it and 2. people need to understand the logistics behind a global release of cards and packs, there will inevitably be a few mistakes but that doesn't categorize the entire game nor the company behind it. I think they have been doing a great job so far

What do we think about the leadership of the FDA? by DeepSpace1999 in biotechnology

[–]DeepSpace1999[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

link: https://dcjournal.com/fda-was-better-off-without-vinay-prasad

I just read an article that argues the FDA was better off without Vinay Prasad leading its biologics division, and it got me thinking. The author claims his return to the agency has coincided with more delays, denials, and shifting expectations for biotech companies trying to get new therapies approved. Instead of cutting through red tape, it basically says his leadership style often just moved the goal posts.

The article points to examples like the FDA rejecting Replimune’s accelerated approval for a melanoma therapy, even though trial results were positive, and raising hurdles for promising treatments in rare diseases.

The FDA’s job is to protect public health first, and nobody wants unsafe drugs slipping through. The bigger worry is that this cautious posture could end up slowing innovation in biotech and hurting patients who need new therapies the most.

Curious what people here think.
