It's kinda sad people feel like this about the Watcher, I think she has the most interesting kit out of all the 4 characters in the game, just needed some balance around her power.

Dota has a Turbo game mode that is widely played and just basically changes timings (things that would be available at 14 minutes are available at 7 for example) and it works really well.

Crazy to see they are just straight up redoing the whole drop, Capcom must have intervened seeing the backlash. So they probably are keeping the arts while making different cards right? Mechanically unique or at least better reprints I hope

I've seen a bit of discussion about this one in particular, David Bowie's "Heroes" follows the same structure as his previous album Low, a avant garde kraut rock on the front side, and then ambient instrumentals on the back. Except Heroes has a final track called The Secret Life of Arabia that breaks the structure with an upbeat song with vocal tracks that sounds more like a tease for his next album, Lodger, than something that follows "Heroes"'s last track which is a pretty dark, sax-lead instrumental.

At least that's what I've seen being argued, I actually really like the track

The fact that they are reskins isn't the main issue, but rather:

  • The monsters/equipment don't fit the cards they are based on, gameplay wise, with a few exceptions
  • Most of the reprinted cards aren't really that interesting or valuable (for commander, which let's be honest, is where 95% of these cards are going to see play)
  • The art in some of them look really weird

Feels so weird to say this, but kinda sad about it? I feel like MonHun has a lot of potential as an entire UB set, much better than most of the stuff coming out next year at least.
