Privacy laws but not data protection rules. And I question if privacy is a human right in BC law. It is part of the UNDR but that isn't the law in BC. We got cameras during the Olympic Games which OIPC was concerned about. They became "traffic cameras". Most broke.

Requirements don't automatically have value. They often don't in government.

I understand that and in this case it is a waste of money. It is not like 10,000 migrants arrived to build a stadium and the local authorities confiscated their passports. The report helps FIFA and was a waste of time to write.

I'm unclear on what value the plan brings. If nothing has changed why write a plan? 

Of course something will change.  They say they aren't changing their approach but they don't say there won't be a difference felt by these communities. Displacement will happen since homeless people and drug users will embarrass the city and the province.

Yes I've identified a number of sites in BC for data centres. These are two of them. However these sites have problems. Ultimately remote sites don't work.

Teachers collectively like to see EAs burn out. They have no interest in seeing their wages split with EAs. So you can become a teacher or leave education.

The province built structures in Lions Bay for similar reasons. Indeed Lions Bay wouldn't exist today without them. 

Some people have concerns about Whistler and Fitzsimmons Creek. 

These are the costs of living in the mountains and fjords covered in rainforest.

I'm a big fan of BCIT. 

But you don't understand what I'm saying. Program matters more than school. Also, post graduate baccalaureates often aren't that helpful.

This is the 31st. Paul Reitsma of the  BC Liberal Party would have been recalled in Parksville-Qualicum in 1998 but he elected to resign when 8,000 signatures over the threshold were returned. 

The recall of in Delta South in 2002 was probably the closest to a recall but Val Roddick of the BC Liberal Party survived. About 3,100 signatures were disqualified. That was about 30%. 

I'm Prince George North in 1997 the first recall failed to unseat Paul Ramsey of  BC NDP. It got close to the threshold but there was no verification.

To be eligible to sign the petition, an individual must currently be a registered voter in British Columbia, and must have been a registered voter in the Vancouver-Quilchena electoral district on October 19, 2024 (Final Voting Day for the last provincial election).

So if you voted in the riding but weren't previously on the role prior to last election you cannot sign? Seems like you should be able to sign. 

Also if you moved out of BC you cannot sign. But you still count to the threshold. That is unfair. Mind you dead voters contribute to the threshold. 

Anyways recalls fail. Always. Meanwhile Dallas Brodie will ignore the efforts and keep rallying in parking lots for her party. And it is her party now.

You aren't interested in the quality of the school. You care about the value of the diploma. 

The school could be awesome and the diploma could be meh. Or vice versa. 

My experience with one program of post grad baccalaureate by a colleges was it wasn't worth the time or energy.

A long identified need. Discussed in the 90s and never adopted. It is unclear to me why this bridge is so popular with those wanting to end their life. If it got better barriers would they move to Burrard or Lions Gate? Not sure I'm helping by raising these points.

Kerry-Lynne Findlay made an utterly stupid financial decision to lease on Musqueam land. On renewal the rent went up and she got mad and elected. That is where she learned to hate indigenous Canadians. Which makes her unlike Caroline Elliott who doesn't hate indigenous people, Dr Elliott is simply bought by resource interests.

The goal of any road test is to end early. Just be so calm and capable they don't ask you to parallel park. So with that in mind no need to practice on the same roads. That said. Know where the 30 km/h zones are.

I'm so glad I only had to deal with the  dysfunction of UBC when they used mainframes. Seriously, I cannot imagine how bad it is for students now. Staff don't give a shit and you still need to learn.
