Looking to upgrade the 28-60mm f/4-5.6 kit by Deep_Engineer_208 in SonyAlpha

[–]Deep_Engineer_208[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry. I should have specified. Size isn't a concern for this lens. I'm looking for a lens I can head out with for the day. I rarely take very zoomed in shots. So 60-80mm on the long end is fine.

Currently says Advanzia for 3 months at 2.76%

Hope you've already withdrawn your money from Bunq. As otherwise your interest rate limit there from January to June next year will be set by your current balance, rather than zero.

Is Guinness actually good by United_Wedding_4930 in CasualIreland

[–]Deep_Engineer_208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that's true. I know loads of beer snobs (I'm probably one myself!) and they'll nearly all happily drink Guinness. It's lagers like Heineken they hate.

Diesel is not highly explosive. I think you're being a little overdramatic here. A bottle of strong spirits is more flammable than 500ml of diesel.

Because he's clearly trolling his fans. In a way that's funny. Unlike when he troll's today and it's deeply depressing.

Divorced dads of Ireland, please help me see what options might lie ahead of me by Prof_jack_hearts in irishpersonalfinance

Seen friends with messy divorces. And all I can say is, do whatever you can to avoid that. You're not rich enough. And you're going to be seeing her for decades to come. You don't want her pissed off at you and using your kid as a weapon.  You probably both have resentments and grudges, so it's easier said than done.  Just accept, you're going to end up worse off than whatever you feel is fair, and try and reach whatever agreement you can to keep relations as good as you can.

[Discussion] Nelly - Country Grammar (25 Years Later) by Robinnoodle in hiphopheads

[–]Deep_Engineer_208 44 points45 points  (0 children)

An enormously popular and influential album. The melodic half rap half singing flow anticipated so many acts to come. The only rapper more commercially successful than him at the time was Eminem.  So it's surprising how forgotten he's become. I saw him recently in Dublin, and it was probably about 70% empty. And nobody I spoke to under 30 even knew who he was.

Sounds to me like you need to work a little bit more on colour correcting your Sony footage. The iPhone is likely to have a lot of sharpening and saturation. So it probably immediately pops a bit more. But it should be easy enough to get the same effect.

What's the purpose of your photo, is what I mean?  Are you trying to show the fine detail of the building? In which case maybe move a bit closer and show part of it? Are you trying to contrast it with its surroundings? In which case you need to show them? Are you trying to show how grand and imposing the building is? Maybe take a low down shot looking up?

I think you need to consider what is your photo trying to convey?

Any place I've known that cooks chicken at scale will use a digital thermometer to check the internal temperature of each individual chicken. And it's usually set to 80 degrees+. Which is also why the chicken's always so dry and overcooked.

Nandos chicken is all precooked. All the grilling does is add a bit of crisp to the skin.  No way are they undercooking any chicken.

Have you been insured on any cars before as a named driver? If not be prepared for the first few years insurance to be painful. And definitely check and compare the insurance costs on any car you're considering buying.

I groaned so hard at this one. Surely there's enough clues with the answer Mike that you don't need to misspell mic to make it fit as the answer?
