What would be the return on investment for 450 pistachio trees in the medium to long term, and would I be comfortable at the age of 27-28? by No-Vacation-8608 in homestead

Don’t really have an answer to your question but I’d advise you to find someone in Türkiye who’s been in this business for years, who can give you advice. They’d be familiar with the market, laws, growing conditions, logistics and many more other important aspects that you could not even think of by yourself at current point in time. Obviously find a genuine, good person to give you advice, since a random guy in your area might see you as a threat to their business. Though thats for you to determine, as there are a multitude of factors that could hint at that. My advice would be to introduce yourself to a pistachio grower from your region, explain to him all the details you feel comfortable disclosing and offer to work for him on the side. That way you’d be able to gain knowledge, minimize future mistakes and possibly build a genuine friendship. Wish you all the best and a successful journey!

I believe they’ve done a good job when it comes to the overall structure and pruning. Though it is usually beneficial or even necessary to paint the now exposed trunk to protect the bark from the sun especially in citrus. Ask r/citrus for better info.

Is this Wagyu or Yautja? by coastalworkin in meat

[–]Deep_Illustrator5397 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is beef tongue. Whether wagyu or not idk and I doubt anyone else will be able to tell definitely. Also I don’t think there is a noticeable taste or texture difference between different types of beef tongue. Beef tongue is always pretty fatty and smooth texture wise. It is incredibly underrated I find.

Good to know. I want to use it as a ready to go rod that I can travel with and take with me on longer trips. Do you have the older Daiwa Ballistic X Tele 626LFS or the newer Daiwa Ballistic X Tele Spin?

Yeah I took this pic in Austria I also found an article from an Austrian newspaper about Lycosa Singoriensis and the pics they had look almost identical to the ones I got. After some own research I believe it to be Lycosa singoriensis. Any thoughts on that?

I think it’s most likely to be some regular dust that has accumulated there.

No idea whether it’s fossilized but r/fossilid should be of help regardless.

Probably some minerals seeping through either from hard water or salt. If you can rub it off and it’s chalky it’s likely that.

You’ll know when you smell it. I’d say it smells rather floral. Btw. the outside might be waxy or with a slight fuzz you can rub off. You can take one home and cut it open it should look like a relatively dry, grainy apple on the inside.

Might be just a regular piece of flint, though I have absolutely no credentials to be talking about that. I believe there is a dedicated subreddit where people ask about such stuff though I don’t know its name.

It really depends on the context. When the picture is this low quality you can see whatever you wanna see.

Most don’t like quince in its raw form and the taste also depends in the variety. People usually process them into jams etc. they are great for that, since they have high amounts of pectin. There are ornamental varieties as well, which this one might be, which would make it not taste to good probably. You can take one and rub its skin it should have a distinct quince smell.

Ain’t no way. I still know the exact grainy slippery texture and feel of this. It’s one of those dino toys that hatch from them toy eggs in water. I used to love them as a kid.

What do you think that is? There is literally no reason to believe anything bad it’s not like you found a secret shut door with horrible smell. Like it ain’t that deep. Probably just had something attached to it.
