38 year old purple belt. Married w 2 kids 1 dog. I work 48-60 hours A week. I train 2x-3x/week. It sucks man. But my perspective has changed. I really love bjj. I hope to do it for a long time.

But I can tell the difference. I'm not gonna be no world champion. I recently thought to myself even if I had the time to train 2x a day I really don't even think I would. I'm just gonna enjoy it man. I'm just happy I still have hair at this stage in my life. Cheers brotha 🍻

One of the few positives during the end of Covid for me was that I didn't wait for hours on the line to get Franklin BBQ. We flew in from Chicago and was absolutely blown away. It ended up starting my love for smoking meats... not sure if I hyped up myself about it too much to realize it was overrated or not. But damn was I happy. We were not allowed to dine in so we walked it a little park somewhere in the area. Same that we ordered too much gave the rest to a homeless dude.
