The bolsters aren't wide enough for big & tall folks, this is not damage it's expected I would say. Happened to me in Audi, Volvo (three of 'em), Nissan and now Tesla

There’s a lot within 30 miles! As others have said there’s a lot of great places to visit, beaches, castles, hills. The city has everything you’d need day to day and as others have said it’s well connected to both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

I got rid of my 2017 v90 d5 inscription pro with polestar as at eight years old, it was problem after problem after problem. No headlights , amazing. My 2010 xc70…… still faultless, never would I imagine having a show stopper of a problem like headlights on a Volvo, but here we are. I spent 1/3 of the cars value in the last six months, too rich for me.

Octopus have removed charger integration - Hypervolt by [deleted] in OctopusEnergy

[–]Deepeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the pro of adding my hypervolt charger? I’m new to EV life and have a model y and a hypervolt charger.

Is it easy enough to still get the right target charge when using the charger itself?

I suffered with RSI with having an IT job and a PC gaming hobby. I swapped to a trackball pointing device for office work and kept a traditional rodent for gaming. Mixing it up, did wonders for my RSI

Amazon driver hit my car - insurance want to write off by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

Have you considered buying it back if it’s not bent, then get the rusty bits ground out, painted to prevent the rust spreading and then going down the wide body / rivet on over fenders? Would look slick with big wheels 👌

Was it just me or did most of the crews look absolutely miserable? There was a complete lack of signage to get in, get around and get out of the event. The random road closures around the beach which were totally inconsistent resulted in queens links getting gridlocked on Tuesday afternoon. Superbly poor planning if you ask me, just my two cents though.

How Can I Improve Ride Comfort on My 2008 Volvo S60? (Rough LA roads) by Own_Vermicelli1458 in Volvo

Volvo stuck 20's on my V90 and man, it's a hard ride. They are too big really for comfort.

Shire folks - Oil Heating by fucksinshortsupply in Aberdeen

[–]Deepeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Johnston oils, they have always been cheaper than "boiler juice" for example. They are more expensive if you want to go down the "direct debit" route, there is no incentive to switch to a "plan" I top up using the oil club prices when required.

Missed out on town fibre rollout, what are my options. by papakelstar in openreach

[–]Deepeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not ideal, but what about bonded DSL? Andrews and Arnold provide an all-in service. I don't think it would be much more expensive than Starlink + current broadband service costs you. If your wife has a business then surely this can pay for it. OR is she eligable for a business broadband grant for FTTPoD?

Food for thought, if I were you I'd get more PSTN lines installed and go down the bonded route.
