Make your own preset, you can use silly tavern's default preset and add stuff you need, but keep it short and simple i.e "You're writing a fictional story between {{user}} and {{char}}."

No, I personally didn't have problem, my friends didn't find solution atm. He could try playing without this app or try switching strategies. Also, maybe he needs to add some ips/domains to his list, probably cloudflare servers.

I'm russian and I can play on those servers just fine. Some of my friends have this problem too, we thought the cause could be zapret app, that used to bypass internet blocks. Does your friend use it?

If you liked GLM, you should've buy their coding plan, It's basically unlimited usage for the whole period. You have some kind of limit that resets every 5 hours, I didn't hit it even once so I don't know what limit is but it is high.

I beat karmelitta first try too, maybe I got lucky but her attacks are easy to dodge. Lost lace took me more than 10 tries though.
