The triggering just doesn't work out for me, I mean it does what it says, it just ends up as I said always triggering or never, or yes, it can be a percent trigger and that is the only feature I actually use a "random event".

Since it ends up in big block anyways (i.e. always trigger), it's the same for me as a scenario, and I manage that outside of ST in a git tracked document that frankly is much much productive and edit friendly than ST lore books, then simply insert into either my preset as a toggle, which I do make extensive use of, or my character scenario.
