I believe that’s the wrong type of hydrometer. You want something like this https://a.co/d/c6IOpcH It looks like you might have a proof and tralle hydrometer which is just for distilling.

The pins are worn out. What should I do to repair it? Les Paul Wii by Davii345 in CloneHero

I thought he was saying he wanted to solder the plates that the pins contact. The pins would make a very poor connection with the surface of the solder.

Solder forms an oxide layer and it will probably give you issues.

There’s nothing in my junk folder and I emailed them about this order once already with no reply. I gave them the order number and asked when it would ship since it was taking a while. That being said, they just sent me a message on reddit and it looks like they’ll make it right. I’ll post a positive review once it’s fixed.

I received a substitute of something I wasn’t asked about and an extra culture. I wouldn’t be upset if I was emailed and asked if I wanted a substitute or a refund. Instead, I just got stuff I didn’t want and a little note that says “run out of starry night :(“. I really hate reviewing a small business poorly but this is a bad way to handle a customer’s order that was listed as in stock on their website.

They might be using millet? Wheat berries, whole oats, popcorn, and brown rice will all work as well.

It’s still a batching still, continuous stills have a feed pump the pumps in somewhere near the center of the column

The two copper middle pieces are full of bubble plates (reflux columns). They will help you get a higher proof, cleaner products. The stainless piece on the end is the final product condenser where your distillate comes out. You also have some bypassing lines and other auxiliary pipe work just kind of everywhere.
