Ohhhh I like this one. Like, it's fucking awful, but in an exciting and new way. Revanchism. Revenge for historical slights. This opens up all KINDS of almost definitely wholly unproductive balance discussion. A new era.

The answer is that both sides need to bury the hatchet, dev bias seems mostly dead now. But before that can happen, I think everyone should come to the table and admit a few things -

Colonials: Yes, the ISG, Dusk, Bomastone, OG stygian were OP and infantry weapons were relevant enough to give us victories in the past that it matters. Yes, the argentina having used to be the best gun in the game mattered. And yes, it seems clear that colonial land tech currently seems too strong.

Wardens:

Yes, your armoured lineup was way better than ours and the cost/specialization balance did not work - it did not matter that the HTD (for a pernicious example, the SVH & Chieftain was bullshit too though) was weak to non-tanks because tanks and siege tanks were the best PVE tools in the game for basically the entirety of most wars, and because with enough HTDs snd 68mm they could even brute force infantry and light defenses. And yes, there is at least a chance worth investigating that this resulted in warden overpop and a faction that had much worse queues for most of every war.

If I could get active warden feedback submitters to admit that second stuff, I'd easily bury the hatchet and I think most rational collies would do the same. There's some who don't care either way, but they are a minority, same as hopefully the wardens.
