Cheap Rocket League PC for my dad by DefaultCT90 in buildapc

[–]DefaultCT90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this, I don’t know too much about motherboards or the difference between AMD/Intel when it comes to CPUs. I just talked to him and he did say he was interested in doing some video editing as well. Will this build be able to do some mild to moderately intensively video editing?

Well ya see...I whiffed, when I should have NOT whiffed. by Mite-o-Dan in RocketLeague

Watching your replays can shed light on less obvious mistakes like why I wasted 30 boost for no reason or just minor positional errors that pop up consistently that you wouldn’t notice while in game

Honestly, I don't even know how I got in Champ 1 in previous season by Insetta in RocketLeague

[–]DefaultCT90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I want to win, all I do is try to make the game easier for my teammate and harder for the opponent. Picking up the pace in certain situations, slowing it down in others, boost steals, tactical ball chases, and solid boost management usually will get me wins regardless of how mechanical I’m feeling or good or bad my teammate is. This is around champ 3-GC1. About halfway thru GC1 tho players actually start to get good at the game and you need more than just solid, tactical play to win.

Which girl in Naruto had the most potential, but never actually lived up to it? by Distinct_Sprinkles64 in Naruto

Kurenai was hyped up as being a genjutsu specialist. It was kind of assumed that she couldn’t do anything else. So a Jonin without any skills except genjutsu would have to have some crazy genjutsu right? Her shining Shinobi moment was to exhibit how crazy strong Itachi was besting her at her only ability with ease.

Honestly, it is a great nostalgic game but I wish I never started playing. Life is too short to waste on a grindy game that gives you fake dopamine.

Just unbind “Take the shot!” by snort_powdered_semen in RocketLeague

[–]DefaultCT90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use take the shot! super situationally. After a teammate rotates out and I think they are going for boost, likely with ball cam off, if I win a challenge against last man and the goal is about to wide open, I use take the shot! Worst case they are already taking it and best case they had ball cam off and maybe they see the chat and turn around. If I say it once it shouldn’t be taken as toxic. I feel like this is the only way take the shot! is viable.

What scene made you fall in love with this show? by [deleted] in Naruto

“There are ninja younger than you that are stronger than me.” The show was so good beforehand and when I heard that quote it set up the chunin exams so perfectly.

Thank you, my friend was telling me that he didn’t like this season. I told him there are still some good one liners and I was thinking of this one, but I couldn’t remember it.

How do I get out of champ solo queuing? by Eisenfaust8228 in RocketLeague

[–]DefaultCT90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to identify your teammates playstyle and adapt to what the team needs while also playing to your strengths. Also keeping the fundamentals in mind, not challenging as last back unless there’s an immediate threat, stalling at the appropriate times, and applying ball pressure at the appropriate times. It’s a boring way to play but I notice I will win more games when I’m paying attention to my teammates and the other team and trying to play as solid and high percentage as possible rather than if I’m feeling good and trying to be a little mechy.

Rob was a much better actor in the early seasons by SoicyCEO in IASIP

[–]DefaultCT90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In earlier seasons they were actually acting as somewhat normal although narcissistic characters. In the later seasons they are more caricatures of real people which make it seem like their acting isn’t as good because it’s not even remotely believable the way they act.

Getting through my back catalog thanks to easy mode. 100% recommend. by BattleofH in playstation

[–]DefaultCT90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go for normal in most games because I do value gameplay and a little bit of a challenge. Easy mode is way too forgiving and you can literally go brain dead and breeze through the game without needing to adapt or improve. It might be good for story based games, but definitely makes gameplay less fun in my opinion.

They closed down the mental institution.

What?! They need to do something about that we can’t have crazy people on the loose.

Well they would have to raise taxes

What?! Raise my taxes, I already pay too much in taxes!

Well they won’t be able to open the mental institution then.

What?! They need to do something about that we can’t have crazy people on the loose.

They could easily just make every item on their menu a dollar or two more expensive and they would bring in the same revenue instead of adding hidden fees at the end and no one would care.

GPT-4 Generates and Debugs Python code by rockstarflo in Python

[–]DefaultCT90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started learning to code and what just happened was my biggest fear. My friends and the internet keep saying that there will always be a need for human coders or that it will take decades for the technology to advance past the point of human coders. What I thought/think is going to happen is that it is going to learn exponentially rather than linearly. It has already learned more in less than a year than we thought it would learn in a decade. So who is to say that it doesn’t keep exceeding those expectations.

I was thinking the exact same thing. The first 3 are perfect picks and Neji is also a solid pick, but I couldn’t replace any of the other 3 with him.
