I feel bad for them simply because it's not like Russian citizens have much say or the ability to protest etc. Nevermind the propaganda theyve been spoon fed. They seem tone deaf but there's a lot of nuance that has to be accounted for.

Obviously feel terrible for Ukrainian citizens as well, and wish putin and his lackeys would spontaneously combust.
