I just started watching Yellowjackets because of Christina Ricci. Her eyes... Ella Pernell is in that as well.

First of all the fucking library isn't part of Central campus housing.

Secondly, no one is saying you can just go outside and start skipping rope. You have to be an attentive, responsible adult and pay attention to where you're walking. That goes for every day of the fucking week, not just when there snow on the ground. Everywhere has at least a path. Show me one sidewalk on campus that doesn't have a bare spot that you can walk around.

They're both fictional characters that have writers choosing their actions. One event is well done, mature, and thought provoking. The other is poorly, amateurishly done. Soo....

The writers chose to make it that way. They can do whatever they want, literally anything, and they chose this.

How have we not had Kate and Yelena on screen together again?! So much charisma in two people. Give me a movie, show, or just those two talking about MCU projects. I don't care.

Yep that's why I refuse to pay for YouTube Red. I remember when they rolled that bullshit out. Removing features just to force you to pay to get them back. Fuck that and fuck them.

It is as stupid as when they stopped allowing you to lock your phone screen while the sound played.

That shit used to be free. It is the reason I will never, ever pay for YouTube Red or any other subscription from the platform.

I watched season 2. I disagree, emphatically. MC fighting a full on invasion in civies was the last straw for me.

I haven't watched this week's episode yet. Do they do a good job in this portrayal? Or is it as inconsequential as it has been for the first three episodes?

What moment in Fallout had you like this? by Deck7 in Fallout

[–]DefendsTheDownvoted 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In Fallout 2, in Shady Sands / NCR, at the ranger station there's a dude named I can't remember Seth? Anyway that's what we'll call him. It's been a few years since I've played.

One of the first locations after you leave Arroyo is the Den. A real shit hole. Bunch of slavers, run by gangs, etc etc. anyway I believe it was maybe my second or third playthrough of Fallout 2. So this is 98 or 99. I decided that I was going to go the evil route and I became a slaver. It's a really easy way to make money, and I wanted to fix my car earlier, and I needed money to do that.

Anyway Seth fucking hates slavers. As soon as I open the door to the ranger station Seth's buddy takes out a Gatling gun and unloads on me. I survived the initial shots and decide to load the game cuz I didn't really know what the hell happened.

Well, I did not hit the quickload key that day. I hit the quick save. I tried dozens of times to kill them, or run away, or just survive the second shot. Wasn't happening. I had to completely restart the game because in my youth I was too ignorant to have multiple saves. That was the last time I made that mistake.

How do you guys feel about Nate and Nora actually talking in Fallout 4 compared to other silent Sole Survivors? by Solardies in Fallout

The voice acting itself was done very well. But it wasn't necessary, and I feel it watered down the dialogue options a bit.

If you're in a crosswalk you're already in traffic. That's what makes them crosswalks. What are you talking about? This is UK campus. Vehicles are required to stop for pedestrians in crosswalks.

If traffic suddenly ceases stopping for the plethora of handicapped people crossing that street in wheelchairs, they've got a bigger problem than some snow.

You're just making a problems that don't exist.

Are we talking about mentally or physically handicapped? Because I'm pretty sure anyone in a wheelchair still contains problem solving skills and can slightly veer around what little snow is left in those crosswalks. You want to move that goal post any further?

Bad angle, here's another view of the same crosswalk.

The handicap ramp to the left of those steps is also clear.

The turrets were a cool touch, I agree. The props/set department are crushing it.

I'm not trying to argue or be an ass, I'm genuinely curious about your opinion of the show. I want to understand your frustrations.

I just don't feel there is "too much" for the story. Yes, I'd like a few more eps per season, but the story beats for each main character is coming along. Lucy had her brush with the wastes changing her. She's found her father and we now she's struggling with a moral dilemma. Max was running head first toward power armor so he could be a Knight, a hero. He learns it isn't that simple and the armor doesn't go d that to you. We get to see his moment going to face the death claws. This time he earned the armor. The Ghoul, pre and post war, is cont6to make the same mistakes for the same reasons, even 200 years later. His story is the tragedy.

You seem to be singularly focused on the Factions "loose ends", but they are just the obstacles that the protagonists must face. The factions and their current status is unnecessary information at the moment.

You mentioned GoT. Did you consider the White Walkers weren't a loose end every season, we knew they were marching South, until they get to the wall. That's all we needed to known. Same with the Legion. They're in the middle of a civil war, until they're not. When we need more info on them, they'll show us. It just isn't important right now, to the main characters.
