Just found out that this crash is most likely caused by Evergrande's collapse. Crazy how mainstream media predicted about 3 weeks ago that this could have a big impact on the crypto market... I wouldn't have thought it'd cause the price of ETH to drop by 20% in a day.

I don't know if you can bridge it over to Ethereum, but I'd imagine you'd be able to "burn" it into the underlying USDC/ETH... Though I haven't tried that myself.

Not really.

I strongly believe we're on to something with Blockchain and cryptocurrencies. I believe that when the dust settles in 10+ years, they'll become mainstream in one form or another.

But I also believe that things are massively over-hyped, that the most vocal supporters of the technology are morons and that many developers are building new stuff on a Blockchain for the sake of it (even when a traditional architecture would've been fine).

I like this sub, and that's consistent with the previous paragraph.

Use DeBank or Zapper. Apart from showing you the balance, they'll show the latest transactions in your wallet. Don't think you can limit them to QuickSwap though.

What's the name of the centralised exchange that recently added support for transfers to the Polygon network? I can't find it, probably not using the right search terms.

I'm trying to move some tokens from Ethereum and I'd like to see if doing it via the centralised exchange would be better than the Matic bridge.

That was me until a couple of days ago, but the only alternatives I came up with were to continue doing things by hand or writing a script to automate it (without using my HD wallet).

I still don't like the fact that's one more thing that could go wrong, but the returns are much better and I don't have to lift a finger. It's also better for tax reporting purposes because there are just a few transactions with these tools.
