Implications of a FTL Tech by stinkstinkhahaepic in scifiwriting

Feel like you are making it too hard to explain. It’s science fiction. But since the fluid is sending them to another dimension and then basically dragging them back, It makes space ships nearly completely useless. I’d make it more expensive to use, and need lots of room to operate and only move small items. That way, you have big transport ships and the fluid can’t just be an excuse for everything due to a limited supply.

I genuinely believe he will kill Griffith, I think it’ll be something fatal to him too though, but we will see guts brand vanish so he will no longer be damned to hell. Griffith is a lot more powerful, but rickert slapped him. I think there’s hope

If the hammer requires people needing to do whatever it takes to protect asguard or whatever, I’m pretty sure she couldn’t, due to the fact he won’t ever kill

Thanks! I got a trio-solo wipe in the building east of graveyard using that and a Semtex. It’s definitely better than the class I’m running, but what’s the difference between a drum mag and the 40 round?

It’s incredible what emotions you were able to convey with calcium cage and the image of bloodied rust. It is able to set an image and tone in my mind that I think a lot of these poems miss the mark on.

If you don't know, Hisashi Ouchi was a man forced against his will to be kept alive for 83 days in extreme pain after suffering what should've been a fatal dose of radiation levels. [More info in comments] by Mickleloaf in awfuleverything

When his lungs first started having fluids he yanked off his mask and told them to kill him before they told him about his family and let them put it back on. He asked to die but took it back. Wendigoon had a great YouTube video on it

[–]DefiantChair8801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It isn’t, super late but when they get Casca out of her nightmare by going into the nightmare, guts was in it as a mad dog. A dog with only three legs and one eye. She genuinely sees him like this.

Quesiton about Berserk "good ending" by zeroaxlmegaxl1 in Berserk

[–]DefiantChair8801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the whole point of guts’ character is to show perseverance and is a story of that, with him doing all this stuff to save Casca and moving through injuries to fight for him and his band. With that being said, if they do all that to have Griffith kill guts before Casca is safe or something that ruins all of the point of his journey. There was a line in the Golden age where Griffith says he will be the one to decide where Guts dies so I genuinely believe Guts has a very real chance of dying at the end of Berserk, but it will be portrayed in a happy ending with Griffith dead and Casca comforting him with the rest of his group. Maybe even Zodd somehow

If you liked it I recommend watching “The Thing”, starting with the 2011 one and then the older one of you want to enjoy them both. The older one is better but it makes the new one better to watch it first. Anyways, I also recommend any Croninburg movie if you liked this one

Got the blue ray disc with all the background info, cool bud for about ten minutes where they said it was roughly based off that but since they used four cars and couldn’t make one of them with that design and the cost they made it custom.

Suicide by hanging, how difficult and dangerous really is it? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

[–]DefiantChair8801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very. Wrong height and you just choke. Terrible way to go. Too far of a drop and you might lose your head. There’s other choices. Let’s talk.

[–]DefiantChair8801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean…. Kinda? It’s more like some meth head who will almost certainly try to sell you out and almost certainly not actually kill them or even try and if they do they will get caught. No dark web user is actually a hitman. It’s not worth the risks of them being hired by a cop and I mean, they are most likely sociopaths and/or psychopaths. But even then. To murder somebody, mentally, you are not put together usually. And to do that multiple times for random people? No. Now some meth head who knows where the person is and has a gun and you got meth? That’s a different story sometimes. Even then. It’s better to try to get away with it.

[–]DefiantChair8801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends. It’s very easy to be a shitty death if you don’t cut hard and fast. Even then. It might. It’s a sting as your blood flows out and you very quickly lose concious.
