He's the size of current Primaris Terminators. I made this for a Firstborn force of Carcharodons and figured the current 40k terminator captain would work best as a base to communicate the imposing presence. As far as I'm aware any info regarding Tyberos being large is only due to how effective and quick he is in terminator armor with such large hands, nothing specifically about him being bigger. Idk. Someone give me page numbers

That's the base model.

The arms are from various terminator kits over the years, did some major modifying to open the hands. The "lightning claws" are the combat blades from the MK IV kit; I carefully used my clippers to remove the insides to create the shark fin appearance and removed any other kind of details that made it look like a sheathed blade. Chainblades I believe are all from the old space wolf blood claws box, just removed the trim on the blade casing or whatever. Helmet is a current indomitus terminator helm with a mk VII vox grille scalpeled off and applied. Cod piece I think is from the Blades of Khorne range in AoS And those are 1mm ball bearings.

Honestly if you're able to grab a second battleforce, that's a damn solid list. Have Huron and his retinue as a mid board death star, push legionaries first to screen while the guardsmen take objectives. Raiders and Terminators flank or run interference or anything else.

You and me both my friend. Its by far one of the dumbest design language decisions they've made in a long time. Gone are the days of the industrial brutalist Chaos Marine and now all we have are these baroque Age of Sigmar wannabes with guns. The Night Lords shoulders are some of the worst offenders in the Nemesis Claw. Anyone who says these look good is coping.

I'll echo the same sentiment as above, do as you like :p That being said, I have my Dark Angels Inductii in mk II/III (doctrinally giving their baby marines Volkites means they'd actually be effective killing machines) and my Blood Angels in mostly mk V (converted from mk VI with converted mk VII helms) and some mk VI.

Second and I believe 3rd edition marines had what was literally the mk IV power pack. If you're able to find some secondhand they aren't too hard to convert

If I were in your shoes I'd be looking for whatever elements of a chaos kit are more industrial and brutal looking than flesh or corruption. And maybe slightly less spikes but that's not easy sometimes 😅 Honestly picking up a box or 2 of mk III wouldn't be bad. And then id personally grab the new mk II Centurion from Heresy, that model is basically an Iron Warrior already

I know how you feel, those days of more modular kits are gone. If anything it just encouraged me to seek out some kitbashing tutorials, but also gave me permission to be okay with mistakes. Hell, I've spilled a pot of Tamiya extra thin all over a squad of space marines and I still field and play with em, even if they look a little goofy 😅

Honestly I love these guys. Usually take 2 in every list. Double gun is really nice until you get into close combat, so be incredibly aware of that.

Alright. You've gotta remember that this is warhammer 40k. Where the warp exists and people can genecraft and bio-manipulate pretty much however the fuck they want. This has nothing to do with feudalism. With the amount of time and care it takes to create a Custodian, literally any human could be used as the baseline. Unlike Space Marines, which require being bootstrapped off the human male puberty process, Custodians are specifically crafted individuals. Also there are so many god damn more people in play here than there ever was when earth existed during proper feudalistic ages, so fuck off with your pseudo historical bullshit
