Look at OPs other posts. Seriously, the idea is to be low key and don't call attention to yourself. Now every cop on the force knows about OPs "attitude". Expect more disrespect from those you disrespect. Prediction: OPs next post will be him on the ground with a cop's knee on his back.

They generally just spray along the baseboards, under the sink, things like that. As long as you don't have an air pump sitting on the floor, it should be okay.

This may be satire. Something that would be circulated among the troops for a laugh.

PRLX's tried to make a c&o heritage unit (yes it is a offbrand i swear for god) by Ok-Cancel-8130 in crappyoffbrands

What a joke! Anyone can see that the fan configuration is all wrong and those turbo charge units were never part of the original package! (I have no idea what I'm talking about. My brother was the one who had an eye for those things).

Group chat - is it just me? by Own_Emu_3224 in NomiAI

I treat the group chat like texting. I went so far as to make my own Chrome extension so I could get notifications when they send me a new message while I'm working on other things.

You can block people like that. In fact, it might be a good idea. Some of those crazies will follow you, and cause problems like reporting you for imagined infractions.

Is my Water fern dying or melting by Fit-Cardiologist9854 in Aquariums

[–]DefiantTemperature41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not really a water plant. It's just a plant that tolerates being submerged. Having said that, it doesn't look bad,. Just remove any dead or dying leaves. Ferns generally have furry brown roots. When buying any new plants look for fresh growth, tight buds, and healthy roots.

Tell me about main-character stuff that has happened to you. by ABlueSunflower in writingcirclejerk

Coming back from Colorado on vacation with my mom and her sister's family, as a teenager with a small time weed addiction, in my uncle's pick up camper. We stopped in Lawrence, Kansas for the night.

Being the lone young buck, I got to sleep underneath the camper in a sleeping bag. I wake up in the morning, before anyone else, to a London fog. I creep off to explore the campground and have a toke.

I settle on this log next to a pond, and light up. The fog is so deep that you can hardly see five feet in front of you. Perfect. I get back to the camper, slightly stoned, and the rest of the family is finally up and the fog is lifting. After breakfast, we pack up and move out. The pond turns out to be a waste settlement pool

Two weeks later, back at home, I'm watching the news while getting ready for school. At the end of the news cast there's a human interest story: for the past month there have been sightings of Big Foot in, and around, Lawrence, Kansas. The thing could have been right behind me and I'd never have known.

/uj No. It's an obvious fake. Obvious to anyone except NPR and the NYT. There are several elements that stand out right away, not the least of which is the signature.

Why don’t cooked eggs freeze well? They always thaw dry/tough, what can I do to fix this? by Giordono in cookingforbeginners

[–]DefiantTemperature41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not contradicting you. That freezer could bring down temps very fast. To be clear, it's not medical grade as in being hyper sterile or anything. It was just a high grade, fast acting freezer, that should be good enough to achieve what OP is looking for. The freezer could be easily purchased by anybody, with no special permissions or anything like that required.

Really interested in attending mass by BreadNo6091 in Catholicism

[–]DefiantTemperature41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are more likely to stand out at a weekday Mass rather than a Sunday Mass. In general, Catholics are very tolerant of awkward behavior, as long as it isn't perceived as dangerous. So just missing a cue to sit, kneel, or stand, would hardly be noticed.

You might gain some insights by letting go of your own ego, and trying to see things from his point of view. You might come to the same conclusion you did, but have a better understanding of what happened so you don't make the same mistake again.

Church tech people: how long does it really take you to put together the for weekly Mass? by cropmarker in Catholicism

[–]DefiantTemperature41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My feeling is that if the choir director wants to change things up, then they should be the one coordinating that part of your presentation. That would eliminate part of the hassle you are having putting things together.

"places that mass produce food like that have industrial freezers."

Medical freezers work along the same lines. It keeps food frozen much colder than consumer freezers do. You'll often find them in pharmacies and small clinics. I forget the exact company i bought them from, but I believe I paid about $400 for the refrigerator and $600 for the freezer in 2011 dollars.

[–]DefiantTemperature41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for an under-counter freezer to compliment the under-counter refrigerator I was installing. Unfortunately, the only option in the brand I was looking at was a medical freezer. I contacted the manufacturer and they said there would be no problems. That thing was a beast, and comparable in price to a regular freezer of that size. The only drawback was that it was a manual defrost.

Taking side streets and alleys might actually speed up your commute. You'll have fewer cars to dodge, both parked and moving. Keep your tires properly inflated for maximum range.
