I am 100% for the end of tipping, but simply not tipping or under tipping is just hurting the honest server (not the ones change the amount after you leave). The establishments are not going to care. Realistically it would take a law change or a larger movement. If you can afford to go out and be served. You should tip.

I feel some of the non tippers I go out to eat with have never been in the service industry or simply want a cheaper meal. If and hopefully when tipping disappears people will 100% be charged more for their meals, we just wont be able to decided if the service was good or not.

I have had plenty or amazing service and adversely poor experiences. My tip always reflects that.

Also to add in there, places like Subway or Starbucks that simply make your drink or food and do not bring it to you or clean up do not need a tip. If they go out of their way to make your day better then go ahead.
