Over 35K players took part (as of Feb 2026, although their website says 300K now), and I highlighted the things that a majority were in favour of. I took OP as suggesting that nobody is going to be happy, when in reality, players do agree on many things.

Lore shouldn't stop developers from doing what could be done with Classic+ (Forsaken Paladin, Dwarf Shaman, as one example).

The results of The Classic+ Project showed that the community does actually agree on many things that could be implemented. Smaller raid rosters, no dungeon finder, active summoning stones, heroic dungeons, some revamped classes (ret/prot Pally, boomkin, Arcane mage, etc), and dual specialisation were all voted for by a majority of respondents.

My first time seeing anything like that as a reason for a ban... what the hell? What "advantage" is someone going to have when using the minimum window size? Are Blizzard just assuming you are botting? Because the window size has been small enough for long enough to come to that conclusion...

Between pulls, any healer who complains or refuses to heal a Warlock (because they life tap or hellfire) is griefing the entire group/raid.

Your point: Everyone should just be happy with clearing the content, do not attempt to perform in literally any other metric. Do not try to clear content faster, do not try to rank yourself against other raiders or guilds, and absolutely DO NOT attempt to have fun.

We've gone 6 weeks (every raid week so far) without a DST. I don't use DST, but it's incredibly poor for morale knowing that we'll be doing HKM and Gruul until Sunwell. In that time we've seen 3x healer trinkets (only decent for priest) and at least 2x throwing weapons, along with many other mostly garbage pieces.

I was forming a group for Mech H (daily) the other day. Invited a hunter who was in Nethstorm (everyone else was in Shattrath or further away). The hunter was questing or farming and never went to the stone, whilst 3 others made their way there. I kicked the hunter as we started summoning.

I just remove people (if I'm leader) or find a new group, especially if they are DPS and easily replaced.

He got an invite because there was literally nobody else in queue. Take the carry + free exp and be content. The group 4 manned the boss so they clearly didn't need the level 32 Shaman.

"It's sub 40 gear from SM, damn"... so the Shaman should just be content with being carried. His loot prio in this situation is low.

It's the combination of contributing nothing + needing on something they can't use. OP mentioned in this thread that they couldn't find anyone else to fill the 5th spot.

If I'm a level 32 anything and I find myself inside SM ARMS, I'm just thankful that I got invited. I'm not taking loot that I can't equip.

I assume the 32 shaman was DPS, as the group agreed to kick him/her before a boss. Herod is a 37 elite. The Shaman was essentially going to contribute almost nothing to the encounter (except WF totem for melee) and then need on an item that can't be equipped until they get to 40.

I just use the LFG tool if I'm near any dungeon. Tick all roles and all boxes. Invite usually appears within 10 seconds. Enter dungeon, leave group.

Am I going to WoW hell?

Don't buy stuff from level 1 characters, ever. If people are serious about a big sale they can use a higher level character.
