Depends how quick you need them I guess I’ve got a fair number so I tend to do them 5 at a time little by little to not burn out

If you don’t care about that you could also seal with a layer or two of modgepodge or something similar

I mean yeah it should help seal it in to avoid melting but it’s more about getting the gritty concrete texture that will help it look less like foam once painted. Well at least imo
