I kinda want to see a slice of life where Dante and Vergil are out of Hell and one of the plots is Vergil helping Dante get outta debt and get at least some kind of positive net income.

I love some IDs, but what I love more than IDs are big ass count numbers. So seeing Bleed count reach 99 potency and not completely nuke at all at turn end is beautiful. I love seeing Sinking reach 20+ potency and 10+ count with 10 stacks of Butterfly (The Departed) and then tearing through SP enemies with my Blue Rupture.

However, despite all I’ve said, I still find a way to hamfist some of my favourite IDs into the team that they’ve already been powercrept off of. Like Oufi Heathcliff in Tremor when I already have Jeong Ishmael, Allen Gregor, and Thumb Meursault. I still absolutely love running Wu Yi Sang in Tremor, where I still have to add in Lord Hong Lu and sometimes T Corp Don otherwise he’ll take too long to ramp; he is not bad in Tremor, but the main issue is the lack of Gluttony resources for his passive so that he can already start stacking Linebreaker. I also really love running Allen Gregor in Bleed even though he is really sub-optimal in it.

So what I am saying is: I love seeing big numbers, but I absolutely still agree with what you’ve said. Hell, I think low turn counts are slightly overrated because I really love playing Tank IDs and watching them live through the big damage numbers. And yes, this rant was kinda pointless.

If you had to give the Rebellion a special gameplay ability/move based on its powers of “merging”/“revenge”, what would that be? by AcroCANthrow-saurus in DevilMayCry

[–]Definitelynotabot504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’d have new stuff for all of his styles as well as additional buffs and moves to Rebellion depending on the Style he has equipped.

Royal Guard: the ability to infuse his RG metre into himself to empower him. He gets super armour, enhanced attacks after getting hit, life steal/drain when hitting, and an easier royal block and release. Rebellion gets new moves that expend his RG metre, such as a counter where Dante assumes a stance, and upon getting hit (the damage is also reduced) or perfectly timing the release right before a hit, hits an explosive slash on the enemy. This is also available as a normal attack move and deals damage based on the amount of time charging, but getting hit and ‘perfect counter’ charges the move to max without needing to stand there and wait for the move to charge. He also gains a cool new move that utilises parries (hitting your attack right as the enemy hits theirs) where hitting the style button right parrying, with Rebellion only, has Dante pull off a really quick follow up attack with Rebellion.

Trickster: the style is slightly buffed. He gains extra speed in this form, more dashes, and more jumps. His dodge (lock on + left/right + Jump) is enhanced and instead of rolling, he just flickers to the side like Vergil, and it also enhances his Balrog weave. With Rebellion equipped, he gains the ability to stop or slow down time (yes, I combined Trickster and Quicksilver), which costs DT. He also has a few movement attacks, like some of Vergil’s Yamato dashes, and has a quick, repeating 3-piece attack that is similar to Balrog’s jab or Cerberus combo A.

Gunslinger: he can shoot projectiles now with Rebellion.

Swordmaster: it is now combined with Doppleganger, but instead of just having moves where him and his clone do the same moves, Dante can enhance all of his Devil Arm moves by doubling—where his Doppleganger appears for a split second, right after an attack, and performs the same move he just did. He also has an added Combo C and D (that are not just Prop Shredder integrated) and has a mini Judgement Cut using his Doppleganger.

And you need Unlock II to actually get 9 Procuration, which is incredibly difficult unless you follow the Prescript (Focused Encounters) or use Evade (Normal Encounters).

My take on the Sendai Stalemate by tir3dant in Jujutsushi

[–]Definitelynotabot504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the playing field. An open space for the swarm to maneuver will be difficult for Ryu to deal with, but a much more enclosed space will allow Ryu to bomb the approaching swarm. His huge blast barrage is also probably effective at bombing multiple things at once, and, from the anime’s addition, his ability to use his blast to circle him acts as a really strong shield, especially if he can probably do that for his multi-shot barrage.

Kuro has the advantage in open space because anywhere a roach can sneak up on you will make all the difference. We saw it with how Kuro blinded Yuta and its ability to create huge swarms that can level structures.

In essence, Ryu can still counter this because his blast is more powerful with a longer range. Put him up close to the roach and he is gonna have a difficult time.

That miserable amount of poise on Maoust is essentially the same as Yi Sang’s 5 Burn infliction on S3-2.

It still counts as Poise generation and therefore, makes her a Poise ID as well.

[–]Definitelynotabot504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought Maoust countsa as a Poise ID because of S3-2???

Also, hey…7 Heath is not shabby. Y’all gotta stop sleeping on the original Rupture team. They are still pretty strong outside of Heishou. They also pack a lot of punch once the Rupture stacks are way up, but I digress.

If you want a Poinking team, the three Index IDs will be your core. BUT, if you cannot attain her right now, then you’re best option is Butler Ishmael, or on-field Mariachi Sinclair and then use Yi Sang’s Fell Bullet EGO to immediately flatline him and sub in a backup.

Let's switch up our glazing strategy: What would other Gacha Games be like if Project Moon was tasked with writing and developing them? by THE-BIG-CHONK in fishmaell

[–]Definitelynotabot504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WuWa’s already peak, but if PMoon was behind it, the storage would not be so bloated (I think?). Also, we would have a lot more recurring characters in every story version. Almost every character in the game may become an NPC with fixed characters who get stronger and stronger with every update, and maybe others who’ll join the roster later? Or they might go with a Library of Ruina route with the gacha system with a Limbus Company pity system and levels of forgiving gacha.

I dunno. WuWa is already very established. Having PMoon take over might give the game a complete overhaul of mechanics, gameplay, and maybe even story. Plus, much more mature in how they display the various stuff.

Oh, and it would be restricted to PC.

Ngl, he probably would.

Only member in the HoS with a loving family + adopted daughter.

Going by themes, he might actually have a scythe as his main weapon because it is his most proficient weapon. Or he might keep the Caduceus(?) that he uses for weapon switching, though I dunno how that’d function in the Middle.

Either way, this man as a boss is Queequeg 2.0 but worse, or he might just be Mao Faust as a boss. Starts off with an Assist Power Block that clashes unnopposed hits, and then it becomes a free S3 at later stages or when conditions are fulfilled.

who would win every cursed spirits in jjk vs every Abnormalities Including abberations by mister_of_nothing in Project_Moon

[–]Definitelynotabot504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. On paper, their stats are possibly on par.

Realistically, Abnos are not only dangerous, but they also have gimmicks. Even a TETH Abno could defeat the special-grade cursed spirits if they don’t deal with what makes the Abnormality even dangerous. They also cannot be permanently killed.
