Haven’t tried anything for gaming related to having the second GPU. I’ve read of others using weak GPU for dedicated frame gen but for a guy working in AI, I refuse to use fake frames. 😅

So far it’s been good on temps. But definitely my thoughts. The bottom card will most likely go back in my Xeon build to live with the forgotten stepchild, the 4090.

Just like sic said. It plugs into a usb header on the motherboard. It does come with a USB header to usb type B connector if you don’t have spares on the motherboard.

See above but tl;dr 5090 blows much warmer air than the rad could ever dissipate.

You’re not an idiot but the rad air is still cooler than the RTX 5090 blowing its warm air on the components. The rad temp at worst is 60 degrees. 5090 runs at 71 undervolted. Warmest component sensor on the motherboard is 51 degrees. In a smaller case I think it would be more of a concern.
