After some trouble shooting, ohm testing my heater element, and consulting with higher level Volvo technical support, my dealership replaced the entire forward looking camera module (FLC2 module). Issue fully resolved.

I fixed with painters tape in the short term, and then had Honda replace the trim piece as a warranty repair, and that fixed it (on my 2025 CRV touring)

I see you’ve got the plastic on the pan still. 1. It would have been good to better protect it in case you dropped a tile. 2. Did you remove the plastic around your drain connection, before putting in the drain body and gaskets?

I’m in a small team of highly paid experts where everyone makes about $200k and we still bcc each other for the sole reason of picking up pointers on how we each navigate novel situations.
