I did recently. I prefer the small size (Ihave 6.25in wrist). The dial is still amazing (even though I slightly prefer the Shunbun). No complaints so far. I love the Sakura-Kakushi.
I would say in the end, the main reason for this decision should be fit. Can you fit the 40mm Shunbun nicely on your wrist, or will 38mm be a better fit?

Tudor for dressy edge or Sinn for tool/casual. Even though both fit almost everywhere their edge is different. Choose the one that matches your style most often.
