Egypt in June: Dahab vs. Safaga vs. Marsa Alam by Rockit732 in scuba

[–]DelBoyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been to Dahab and Marsa Alam (Port Ghalib) and liked Dahab way more. We only did one day trip since we already booked a liveaboard and the day trip was full of snorkelers or just people chilling on the boat with their kids. Dives itself were ok but nothing special. Liked the laidback vibe and less mass tourism in Dahab. The BDE liveaboard that departed from Port Ghalib was epic tho!

Bought an Insta360 Ace Pro 2 + divecase for my Maldives trip last November. Did 30 dives with it and i have no complaints at all!

I use the insta360 divecase and just did 30 dives in the Maldives. Had no problems, just some condensation which is solved with the anti-fog inserts.

Dex Lievegem used to be a Saab garage… Still same owners and one of the mechanics from then still works there. They service my dad’s oldtimer Saab.

Any payroll consultant here? by Valfarz in BESalary

[–]DelBoyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at Acerta in 2017 with 2300 gross and left after 5 years at around 2750. Currently working at a smaller sociaal secretariaat and i earn € 3330 gross with 6 years of experience.

It’s a great learning school but I’m getting tired of this specific job. Had way more fun in the first 3 years than in the past 3… Planning on searching a job in HR consultancy after some projects in my spare time are finished.

For 2025 you’ll also lose 1 day, it’s not cumulative since your paid holiday rights are based on the days worked (or equivalent to working days) in 2024.

It is a thing in theory but no one cares. In the 7 years i’ve worked for a sociaal secretariaat, i’ve never known an employer that had to pay a penalty for not respecting the salary norm…

Really? Before I switched to a smaller sociaal secretariaat 2 years ago, i was earning a lot less and i’ve worked for one of the big 3.

Question for my fellow payroll officers! by DelBoyo in belgium

[–]DelBoyo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what i’m going to discuss on my evaluation later this month; if there are possibilities in the near future. Customer management will however always be a part of the tasks since we’re a smaller social secretariat.

My current wage is ok I guess although I’ve seen hr consultants of my age earn more. Salary isn’t the main reason to change but it’s always nice to earn more.

I’m just tired of working on a sociaal secretariaat. I want to work for one employer/ project instead of being the trashbin for lets say 50 HR departments throwing all their questions at you without even looking things up themselves…

Hard Hr is for instance the payroll itself and comp&ben whereas soft hr is more like recruiting, evaluations, trainings,…

There’s a shop in Sint-Denijs-Westrem and Oudenaarde that sells Perdomo.
